QUETTA: After a lot delay, Balochistan Finance Minister Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran unveiled the province’s funds for the fiscal 12 months 2022-23, with a complete outlay of greater than Rs612 billion.
In his speech on the Balochistan Meeting, the finance minister stated that over Rs191 billion have been proposed for the Public Sector Growth Programme (PSDP).
Khetran stated Rs28.3 billion have been proposed for the Federal Funded Tasks (FFP) and Rs14.6 billion for overseas challenge help (FPA) — other than the proposed improvement funds of the province.
The finance minister added that 3,367 improvement initiatives are presently underway for which the province has proposed Rs133 billion and for the three,470 new initiatives, it has proposed a complete of Rs59 billion.
He stated that the proposed funds is Rs612.79 billion, whereas the expenditure for the subsequent fiscal 12 months might be Rs539.94 billion, subsequently, the funds deficit will clock in at Rs72.85 billion.
Khetran added that the federal government has authorised a 15% hike within the fundamental salaries of public-sector workers according to the pay charges of 2017. A 15% increase has additionally been made to pensions.
